In this zoom class you’ll learn about many of the local plants that are tasty and healthy and growing all around us!
They’ll be around again before you know it; dandelion (one of my favorites!), purslane, nettles, chickweed, yellow dock, and many more. I’ll have some surprises too - plants you may have never considered to be edible. I’ll also talk about drying plants and proper storage. This will be recorded in case you miss it - but try to be there so you can ask questions live and in the moment!
Wild foods are what our ancestors ate, what we humans evolved to eat. Whether native or invasive plants, we will talk about many as well as their uses and how to prepare them.
